Steel Silhouette Targets by Steel F/X are very tough & will withstand 1000's of rounds of shooting before target face reversal or replacement becomes necessary. But, they are not for close-range use with center-fire rifles, shotgun slugs, Black-Powder Sabot Slugs, Solid-Copper Projectiles, Armor Piercing Ammo or steel BB's. Full Metal Jacket (FMJ)/Ball Ammo is fine when used at appropriate distance from target. (100 yds. minimum)

Do not shoot solid lead projectiles at steel targets from closer than 15 yards. Shooter(s) and all spectators should wear safety glasses in case of flying splatter. My targets have a built in splatter guard, but it will not totally prevent all back-splatter or blow-back!

It is also highly recommended that shooters wear appropriate hearing protection with a

NRR (Noise Reduction Rating) of 25 dB or greater. Discontinue use if target becomes damaged or broken!
